Founder's Story

A murmur, open-heart surgery, and the people who were not always surrounded by visitors.

The idea for Open Hearts Club grew from an open-heart-surgery journey and from seeing how much the presence of family and community matters during hospitalization and recovery.

The organization is being built so patients, survivors and caregivers can find people walking the same road.
